DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Antonio Morais (Aveiro U.)\, Zhi-Wei Wang (Lund univ
 ersity)\, Rebeca Gonzalez Suarez (Uppsala University)\, Monica D'Onofrio (
University of Liverpool)\, Caterina Doglioni (Lunds universitet)\, Roman P
asechnik (Lunds universitet)\n\n\n\nThe nature of Dark Matter phenomenon
remains one of the biggest unsolved problem of contemporary fundamental
physics. Since early astrophysical observations of gravitational effects
of Dark Matter\, many theoretical approaches that would elaborate on its p
ossible origins\, properties\, cosmological evolution and astrophysical im
plications have been developed. Many experimental searches for particle p
hysics candidates of Dark Matter in collider measurements and in astrophys
ics have been deployed greatly cratering into the parameter space of the
most popular models. Several news ways of probing the yet hidden physics
of Dark Sectors and Dark Matter are being established.\n\nThe School will
start with a basic overview of experimental situation with searches for hi
nts of Dark Matter and theoretical foundations of Hidden Sectors and what
role they play in fundamental physics. The planned lectures and discussi
on sessions would be primarily targeted at Ph.D. students and young postdo
cs\, but may also be of interest for more senior researchers. The lecture
s will elaborate on some of the basic theoretical concepts and the status
of phenomenological explorations of Dark Matter and Dark Sectors. The Sch
ool will include extended discussion sessions\, with active participation
of students\, researchers and lecturers\, where selected topics and quest
ions would be covered in detail. Finally\, a specialised session devoted t
o students' and young researcher's short presentations about their resear
ch projects will be arranged.\n\nFormat of the School:\n\nWe plan for a hy
 brid (in-person & online) event\, with a limited on-site participation. Al
l the lectures and presentations will be broadcasted via Zoom\, recorded
and posted online.\n\nThe hybrid format will also be applied for coffee br
eaks\, welcome drink and school dinner so that on-site and remote particip
ants would stay connected and have an opportunity for informal discussion
s.\n\nDue to active Covid-19 regulations at Lund university\, only a limit
ed number of on-site participants are allowed to be present in auditorium
\, with the majority of trainees and lecturers participating online/remote
ly.\n\nThere is no registration fee. The registration deadline has been ex
 tended to\n\n***** October 16th 2021 *******\n\nConfirmed lecturers and to
