ARC7 technical workshop in Umeå

The NorduGrid Collaboration invites ARC developers, system administrators  to our next face-to-face workshop in Umeå, Sweden. The workshop is dedicated to sorting out the remaining technical issues in connection with the upcoming ARC 7 major ARC release.  This is not intended to be a dissemination event but rather an intensive working and hands-on face-to-face session.

The preliminary schedule is organized as:

• Thursday:
  • Authentication and Authorization (tokens and x509)
  • ARC CE interfaces (REST):  Condor and Dirac as a consumer
  • Controldir internal changes
  • Backward incompatibilities, deprecated components and features
  • SLURM, Condor, fork batch systems status review
  • Information system, accounting reporting, treatment of benchmarks in ARC
  •  
• Friday:
  • ARC.CONF changes review
  • Software distribution, packages, supported platforms

Participation is free of charge while registration is mandatory!
