19 January 2017, 10:00-10:30 Present: Caterina, Florido, Jonas - The MoU has been revied by the Lunarc board and they just underlined that they will provide services the same way they do with SNIC users. It can be signed by both parts if required. - dcache storage is being migrated - The current dcache storage can be used transparently, but the new space is not there yet until the end of the migration. - Alex from Lunarc is managing the transfer. This had been possible thanks to a buffer space provided by Jens at Swestore. - There will be no backup on the dcache storage. - Local storage: the machine fs2-hep locally connected to Iridium has now a direct connection to the internet. It also is connected directly to the two new storage machines so that the users can directly download there. - Access to the machine and security issues are being investigated by Florido and Tore - cvmfs is still missing, it is required for ATLAS downloads. - Jonas suggested that we look into few courses held by Lunarc: - code DDC debugging http://www.lunarc.lu.se/training/deep-dive-code-analysis-and-optimization-9-february-2017/ using a tool that allows to visually debug code in real time - compute course at http://cbbp.thep.lu.se/compute/Courses.php
