Description
Identification of the particle nature of dark matter remains to be one of the most important problems in particle physics today. I will take an overview of dark matter phenomenology and exemplify the importance of studying impact of experimental searches and cross correlation between different probes. I will in particular concentrate on the Weakly Interacting Dark Matter (WIMP) paradigm and demonstrate different ways of interpreting LHC results for WIMP DM including simplified model spectra results and reimplementation of LHC analyses. I will complement these examples with direct and indirect detection analyses and sketch potential future avenues.
