WLCG Authz group discovered that there's RFC almost approved, quite similar to their profile. Virtual test clusters for SLURM and Condor are getting to shape, can start receiving Hammercloud jobs. SLURM is now in EPEL. Some support infrastructure servers are getting old, so some nighlty builds are missing. GDPR bug is high on the hype list.
== Bugs
There is a fix for #3977 (glib) but the latest nightlies have crash in libcrypto (#3987, related to openssl), so the fix can not be applied. These block the 6.10 release, which also should fix the GDPR issue. The issue may be caused by an outdated build system or other openssl incompatibility. For CentOS7 the proper openssl version is 1.0.2k. Backtrace indicates that the failures occur inside openssl, more investigation is needed.
There are very many bugs in NEW state, mails are working.
== ARC Storage Element
The idea: can REST interface be generalised to create a simplistic storage element (file transfer without actual job submission). It will not be the fastest SE. Authorisation strategy also needs to be defined, e.g., how can files be shared with other users. We had a GridFTP SE and Chelonia, none quite took off. GridFTP can offer a better performance, and can be resurrected, even with a HTTPs interface, but it will need some work. A simple wget via Apache http server may also do a good job.
