== News

  • Balazs followed up with DIRAC on bulk jobs, the proposed solution is problematic for DIRAC. In a later version of ARC7 some other solution will have to be implemented (to be discussed), data staging from client is needed.
  • Split of LRMS scripts is done
  • Work on cmake transition is in (slow) progress
  • ATLAS software week: submission to LUMI via old modified ARC SSH bridge is reported by Czech experts; a proposal for an Xcache-based data caching to be used with e.g. HTCondor is shown, apparently somewhat low interest.

== Release

ARC7 has a blocking issue (bug #4172), so probably won't hapen this week. Status of the ARC6 bugfix release is unclear.


== Bugs

Granularity of sectons in Bugzilla may need to be decreased, as there are fewer experts. 

  • #4171 : Ievgen will have a look at it
  • #4167: probably a packaging issue
  • #4164 and #4173 are probably duplicates

Bug-linked Gitlab issues will be closed once the release is out.
