== News

  • The memory issue is reported with BOINC, with more memory added (14 GB) memory is not an issue.. But the reason is not system certificates, as they are not configured.  It also seems to be sending very many DNS requests, no caching seems to take place. This high memory usage perhaps should be listed as a known issue in the release notes, until the reason is found. The respective bug report is updated.
  • Xrootd 6 is out, not backwards-compatible. No problems  expected anyway. 
  • Nighlties on Ubuntu 26.04 seem to have issues with Python.
  • New WLCG tokens profile is out, needs to be checked whether changes need to be implemented.

GGUS bugs seems to be understood. Newest bugzilla bugs are discussed.


== Release

The memory problem needs to be understood before any new release.  Asking the community might help. Other small fixes are also in the pipeline.
