== News

APEL is changing the messaging broker, away from ActiveMQ, on a short notice. This was not communicated widely, and may cause problems with ARC accounting. 
Move to tokens has an aggressive schedule, supposed to fully replace X509 by October this year. VOMS shuts down by the end of the year.
OSG Globus repository retires in February 2022, new host is sought.
Nothing was heard from HTCondor regarding REST, though there's substantial interest, also in DIRAC, to have a REST interface to ARC.
Not all HTCondor pilot factories got updated to GDPR-compliant HTCondor, in particular not those that send accessibility/reliabiity tests, so sites are being asked to apply patches to revert hashing, though it may not be needed as the new HTCondor release is today.
More patches are committed to Github by the community.
Some discussions around the NeIC project proposal.
