== News

Holidays season is starting, so this is the last meeting before the summer break.

Coderefinery is under weather, the support is aware of it.

Lars discovers that a number of host-resolvers can grow up explosively for no clear reason, bug is being reported. (#4312). Operating system is supposed to do the cashing, but it doesn't seem to happen.


== Bugs

#4310 might be not a bug
#4311 looks like a useful scalability suggestion, or can be addressed in the documentation (subfolders in jobstatus might take all the inodes, as they are never deleted). It is decided to add a cleaning mechanism to avoid it.


== Data delivery service performance

Follow-up on the tests started at the workshop in Lund. Large sites confirm that the data delivery service is slow, and is even being turned off, suggest new scalability tests. There's also a suggestion to make the delivery service pushing info to AREX, instead of the current polling which appears to slow the service down, which is potentially a major optimisation, and is better scalable. There might not even be a need for multiple data transfer nodes.
